This is a mixed bag of photos from Walter and I's trip to Boulton Creek along with
family visiting while at Grandma Perrault's funeral in Sask and some photos and videos
of Walter's progress on learning to ride his bike.
Canoeing at Sibbald Pond

It was time to take the canoe out for the first paddle of the season. It always takes a while to
remember the process by which we mount the canoe solidly to the car.

Walter always enjoys the opportunity to fish, even if I put a plastic fish on his hook instead of a hook.

Here's Henry casting. Note the small size of the pond/lake, but the boys still loved it.

After some fishing, some lunch, and some canoeing, the crazy nuts just wanted to run around
in the forest, which I always support. Here they are playing with sticks.

Here they found a little tree fort in the woods.

Maria and John popped into Cochrane for a visit, and John got to try out my sweet skidoo mullet jacket
while the boys fished at Mitford Pond.

Walter 'practice' camping with Daddy

Since our plans got shifted, we decided to still do a night at Boulton mid-week, but to just take
Walter with me. This gave us an opportunity to try him out camping by himself. We had some challenges
last year with him not really sleeping in the tent, so the intention was to improve that. Here he is
after 'helping me' set up the tent and shelter.

Walter was pretty excited to be in the tent again.

Camping didn't really speed up his eating - it still took over an hour and me feeding him. He just
has too many ideas about what he wants to do to be bothered with pedestrian things like eating dinner.

When Crazy Carl arrived with his trailer, Walter was JACKED to help out. Here he is checking out the
leveling feet and wanting to help.

This totally made Walter's trip and it was the first thing he told him Mommy - "I got POP!"

It wasn't terrifically warm on this night, so Walter is exploring the space with his toque and mitts.
