We had some company in Calgary with Earl and Amie, along with Grace coming to visit. We also
skied at KHMR with friends, and here are some photos and videos.

Our niece Grace came and spent some time with us around Valentine's Day this year. Here she is with Henry
playing in the basement.

Earl and Amie came to visit from Lloyd and brought the whole crew. Here's David trying out the climbing gym.
He didn't initially take to it (he was a bit scared), but quickly sorted it out.

Family selfie at the Flames matinee game against the Ducks. The Flames lost, but Henry made it through his
first complete game (we usually leave after 2 periods), and we took the train there and back.

Henry really took a liking to Marie and here she is reading with him.

And here she is helping fix an airplane with his screwdriver. I think it was mostly because she had a character
from Paw Patrol (Skye) that Henry liked her.

We took a crew of great people to Golden to ski Kicking Horse. The first day I took Henry and we tried out
boot-attach skis. I wouldn't say it was a rousing success. He was also sick with a bad cough, so it probably
isn't a fair try.

Louis and I got out for a tour up to Roger's Pass since conditions for sidecountry at Kicking Horse weren't amazing.
We elected to stay conservative due to the 'considerable' avalanche rating and went up the Bostock parking area and
up to Christiana Glades. The uptrack was horrendous (I could have used crampons), but once we got on the actual
slope, the skiing was excellent.

We actually wound up finding really nice snow. Here's Louis putting in an uptrack and digging out a
path past a tree well.

Check out the beautiful soft snow everywhere. This is where we had a bite of lunch.

Our track up the drainage and over to the glades. In future, I'd stay skier's left on the descent to get the
best track down.
