So, I'm on to another new camera. This time, it was the huge amounts of snow at Mount Hood
Ski Bowl that took it down. So, if you're out on Ski Bowl in April or May and see a glint of
bronze and silver and it says Olympus, check out the pictures on it, and SEND IT TO ME!
These pics are from the tail end of our Portland trip, and some various ski pictures in
Before leaving Portland from our awesome New Year's trip with Jeff and Lisa and Jason and Avie,
we got to stop and see Chris and Keri Gorman. Can you tell she's got a bun in the oven??!!
Chris and Keri are awesome and we look forward to more adventures with them in the years to come.
This is Natalia on the back side of Lake Louise having a bite of lunch. Notice the pattern that she's
always smiling when she's eating...
Natalia's turned herself into quite the snowplower. Here she is making the long descent down the gondola run
at Lake Louise. This was the first time I had skied Louise in probably 10 years or more. It's gotten
busier but it's still really nice.

The second attempt we've had at making Thai food turned out SPECTACULAR! Note the fried Thai spring rolls
and the curry with pineapple and pork. Way to go us!
Natalia and I went skiing with her friend Annie Young at Sunshine Village on 13 Jan 2008. Here is Annie
just sparkling and ready for another day on the snow!
No, we didn't spend the whole day on the bunny slopes. We just decided that it would be fun to ride the
magic carpet. This is Annie with her new AT boots.
Natalia is having a dance party on the magic carpet lift.
We stopped at the Banff hot springs on the way home.
Annie enjoyed being in the hot water almost as much as Natalia did. I'm not sure she enjoyed the Brit
high school kids hitting on her, but I guess the Brits are the new Aussies around the mountains.

Of course, I forgot my trunks and had to rent some. The "historic" trunks are the bomb.
Nati and I got some turns in at Nakiska, despite the -20ish weather on 20 Jan 2008. Another great day to
get out into the mountains, and Natalia continues to improve. On this day, she conquered her first real Rocky
Mountain black diamond (even though I didn't tell her it was black!)
