Hanging out with the boys in December in Cochrane.
First a video of Walter working on reading - it makes my heart smile

I took Walter for an afternoon of skiing at Nakiska one day in December. He LOVES it and can't
understand why I won't let him go on the big lift yet.
Walter hasn't quite figured out how to turn, but he's pretty stable

I tried to take Henry skiing as well and promptly left his skis at home. So, instead, we went for a
walk at Lorette Ponds.

Natalia had told Henry he could have a proper birthday party on his 7th birthday. Then the pandemic
happened so we weren't able to have anyone to our house for his birthday.

We decided that with three larger Lego sets that Henry needed his own space to work and, more
importantly, to not be interrupted by his brother. So, he's set up in the spare room and is using
the piano to sort his Lego pieces. This set is Harry Potter set.
Full size
We went for a bike ride to do some power testing and ran into Henry's friend Gracie at the park.

Playing Bingo with the boys. Walter insists on turning the Bingo bin.
Walter has started to do 'repair' work on Natalia and I. I think he thinks he's
an orthopedic surgeon and he uses his tools to fix our legs. See him diagnosing
and 'fixing' Natalia

Henry with his completed Harry Potter Lego kit - the Astronomy Tower - thanks to Rick and
Janet for this sweet set!

I had taken the previous photo to send to Janet and Walter insisted that he wanted to take
a picture for Janet too - "See my smile Daddy!"

Just before Christmas we got one of the bigger snowfalls that I remember in quite some time.
It basically shut most of the province down for a few days to clean up.
