Since all of my ski touring buddies were either sick or busy, I elected to do a 'Shred List' day
with my ski guide buddy Neil Warren. Today's objective was Ogden bench with a hope for decent
conditions since the bulk of K country is still quite dry. Bow Summit was showing ~65cm height
of snow so we weren't sure what we'd find here. The trail up to Ogden brings us up along Sherbrooke Lake.

Once we climbed above the avalanche debris trees, we got up to a bench with Ogden headwall
spitting dry sluffs at us. We chose to take the far right climbing skin track, unlike the
hooligans who went ahead of us and got dusted.

Paul, Liam, and Dave enjoying a snack break in the sunshine. It was glorious weather with no wind
about -5 deg C, and perfect bluebird.

A nice look down valley towards Cathedral Peak and the approach up to Lake O'hara.

Spacing out to get us across the active zone. Skiing over this had lots of avalanche debris,
so even with a Moderate-Low-Low day, it was still valuable to zip through this zone quickly.

Neil put in a very comfortable skin track up into the alpine.

Paul from High River with a glorious day in the Rockies.

Neil checking snow with a pit on the aspect we were planning on skiing. Very limited movement
in the snowpack with less sun crust than I would have thought, even with a south aspect.

Neil about ready to drop into a great ski line from the high point of the Ogden bench.
Liam dropping off into a great ski line
Dave enjoying the 30cm storm snow on his split board

Looking back up at our tracks. We chose to drop a bit early as there were other groups considering
their lines, so we took our opportunity first.
