We went back to Saskatoon for Walter's first wedding and Henry got to be a ringbearer!

Full size
We went to Saskatoon for Elizaveta and Chandler's wedding in fall 2023. The boys did quite well
on the road trip and Walter got to crush butter directly from a container at Timmy's in Hanna and
he thought he won the lottery. Banda baby indeed.

Full size
Chandler's dad hosted us all for a dinner at his place and the kids got to hang out with their
cousins and eat cake. Win Win!

Full size
Since Natalia had wedding stuff to do, we went for a walk along the river valley. The boys
quite enjoy checking out the weir and we got to meet up with my buddy Benny.

Full size
Walter was proud of himself for getting up onto this sculpture. The key is being able
to get back down afterwards.

Full size
I took the boys for lunch to Chianti where Walter had more butter, this time at least on
focaccia bread.

Full size
We took the cousins for a rip at the Kinsmen park and H really quite liked the zip line.

water system to crush the shells off the chestnuts.

Full size
Since we had a bit more time before hitting up Fuddrucker's for dinner, we took the kids for
a play along the river valley. They looked for rocks to throw but it was more soupy mud than
rocky fun to throw.

Full size
I on the South Sask river.

Full size
They made pancakes of mud and competed on how big their mud cookies were.

Full size
Then, they got to check out Rucker's for some LOUD craziness.

Full size
The next morning I took the boys to the children's museum and they had a blast playing in there
ahead of the wedding. This is my ugly mug.

Full size
The boys saw that and wanted to add their faces and Walter's butt at the bottom.

Full size
Next we got to play in the build area which Walter loved, basically since he got to go full
bananas on a glue gun making stuff.

Lynn-Gyug wedding

Full size
Natalia's youngest sister Elizaveta got married in Saskatoon to her long-term partner Chandler.
This was their wedding venue, at the LB Distillery in Saskatoon.

Full size
After the ceremony which featured the most sincere vows I've ever heard, we went for photos
downtown. Since the Bez was under construction, we didn't wind up shooting here, but due to
multiple layers of miscommunication, we went here anyway so Walter and I took a fun shot.

The boys went outside to draw with crayons and of course, this is what they drew.
Henry is hustling to change it here since I told him I was taking a photo to send to his teacher.

Full size
My mom took us for a lovely brunch at the Berry Barn to enjoy the fall weather.

I decided to make a steak and lobster dinner for my Mom and her friend Judith since they
missed out on their lobster boil due to COVID on their New England trip.

them fight but I was already getting 'the look' from Natalia.

It was also a partial solar eclipse and while I didn't quite capture it, I did try to shoot the
eclipse through Mylar glasses, which doesn't quite show it here.

Full size
We popped into Drumheller on the way home and the boys got to run around a bit. Here's
Henry with the big dinosaur.

Full size
We went up the tourist dino too, which the boys always enjoy.
