After a LONG drive to Beaver Flat (longer than going to the Shuswaps), we made it to the
river and my brother's cabin. The purpose of the trip (other than visiting) was to spend
time with Luc and his family, along with have the boys catch a fish. So, since the weather
was basically Phoenix-level hot, we went out every morning before it got stupid hot to fish.
Here is Walter in the boat.

One of the attractions at the Beav is Grumpy Bob's, a small concession that sells candy and ice
cream, along with things you may have forgotten like hot dogs. These candy bags were $1 each.

Denis has been living life large with his new Blackstone grill and here he is rocking out
steaks and garlic bread, mushrooms, and onions. It must have been 50 deg C over top the grill.

The next day, since we got skunked the day before, we went back for another try. This time, we went across
to the Hermanson's side and found some lunkers. This was the first fish I had caught this year
and it was something.
