While it wasn't quite the plan of the day, Levi and I got a great climb in the books and managed
to summit Mt Sparrowhawk with time for a beer in Canmore afterwards. This is one of the easiest places
to get up to 3000m and it's also just a really pretty area too.

Initially, the target on this day was to climb Townsend, Mythic, and Epic Towers (2nd attempt now).
But similar to last time with Louis, we didn't get very far. It wasn't a migraine that turned us around,
it was aggressive dam construction. Next time, Townsend.

The awesome thing about Sparrowhawk is that right now, you're up into the alpine with pretty limited
effort. Just one foot in front of the other and you're up above the trees.

Of course, because it's the Rockies, there's no shortage of scree and talus, but a quick zip
under Read's Tower, and we're up below the summit buttress.

We found a bit of snow as well on the north side of Read's.

Getting through the interminable scree. It's still much better than most scrambles honestly.

This was the only bit of scrambling on the whole route and it was the last ~100m to the top.
With loose rock and ice, this would be a challenge, but on this day, it was a pretty quick up.

You can see peaks for days here when there's no wildfire smoke.
